Massive help I'm learning Dutch with Duolingo, which while it is excellent for learning languages at a conversational level, it doesn't explain the rules as to why, for example, a double vowel becomes a single one in certain circumstances. I believe the web site has better explanations but I find the app easier to access. So I looked for some help, found this and my questions have been answered. Thank you! If there is any niggle it's that I would recommend that the authors approached a EFL speaker to proofread as there are some (not many) mistakes, mostly in the grammar and with a few missing words (so easy to do!). I'm not suffering the opening problems I see others are so I hope that can be fixed.
