There's a universally automatic setting for all volunteers to be automatically assigned to a task. But can there be a category called automatic that we assign a set number of workers to be automatically working? Say like 1 food, 1 stone, 1 wood, 1 automatic worker. So I'd have a worker that rests when a category is full and a worker that works everywhere helping whoever they want. Or can automatically prioritize food slightly better.

It's great, love the style and game play. Really good balance of ads also. However, I ran into a potential bug, I finished the blacksmith, but the tower says it isn't complete, so I can't progress. Sad face.

Got the update hoping to move to chapter 2, but I can't progress further. It keeps trying to have me assign my workers who are all maxed out and when I try to exit, it won't let me. Also, my next mission is to upgrade my gold storage to level 2 when it's already at maxed out at 14. I'm literally unable to play the game anymore since there's nothing else to do.
