In the free version of the app you can record audio and playback no equalizer or other adjustments, so you have to purchase the full version in order to clear the background noise and hear what you want to

Why does the slider go to zero? Couldn't it starts at low. The 1x is already louder than standard audio. Then it just goes into distortion beyond that. It should at least have an On/Off switch in addition to the slider so that you can preset the level when starting. Plus there is a massive processing delay making listening to someone talking to you more confusing than helpful. Please bypass the processing or its usefulness is very limited.
