The radar is useful, but the alerts are unreliable. I find the app useful for monitoring the national hail forecast and keeping an eye on the radar on days with thunderstorms. But the alerts are not reliable because they don't always give a notification and often show up too late. Sometimes they show when it's evident the storm is not going to hit where I am but not when I need them. Keep an eye on the radar and if you see red heading towards your way, put the cover on.

Very nice!!! The recent update has made a world of difference for my user-experience. Looks like a lot of excellent work went into this version. A+++ PS: I've owned my Hail Protector cover for my truck and this app for around 3 years. Both are still excellent. But this new version is exceptional. Well done!

I get regular freeze warnings, but I don't get any hail warnings at all. It hailed yesterday and no alerts came up. So I guess I have to put my hail protector on my car all the time if this app sucks that much

Good car cover, horrible app. Generally gives a "no weather alerts" until about five minutes before the storm hits... if you're lucky.

3/23/21 Didn't get any alerts until 10 minutes after the hail hit. I even saved a screenshot of the no alert after going out and moving my car under my tree. 4/28/21 I never got any warning from this app last night! Hail hit 90 miles to my west. I got hit with quarter size hail. Then it continued for another 40 miles east. This is ridiculous! My neighbors even knew 2 hours before we got hit. This is the 2nd time this app has let me down. I want a full refund.
