★★☆☆☆ Mar.11, 2017 Update: Dev responded that 1 km or 15 km did not matter in measuring a quake - unless you are wanting to know EXACTLY HOW FAR FROM THE EPICENTER OF THE QUAKE YOU ARE LOCATED IN 1KM INCREMENTS RATHER THAN IN 15KM INCREMENTS WHICH IS A MASSIVE, MASSIVE DIFFERENCE WHEN COORDINATING EVACUATION ROUTES IN REMOTE REGIONS &/OR EARTHQUAKE DISASTER ZONES! THE DEV TRYING TO DEFLECT THIS CRAPP's MASSIVE FAILURE TO PROVIDE USABLE LOCATION DATA IS LAZY, SHAMEFUL, & EMBARRASSING! FAR BETTER & MORE ACCURATE/PRECISE APPS DO EXIST SO USE THEM INSTEAD. Utterly impossible to set! Idiot slider design makes it physically impossible to set specific magnitude or distance values! I spent over 10 mins attempting to set minimum magnitude of 1 but could not get the slider to stop jumping off to either 1.01 or 0.98 no matter how careful I was or whether I used my finger or a stylus! The same issue with setting the distance: the slider will only move in 15 km increments which is an utterly stupid, completely arbitrary distance that makes absolutely no sense & makes setting any exact distance values also impossible! JUST changing this from a slider to a simple value input box would turn this 1-star crAPP app into a 3-star usable app ACTUALLY WORTH INSTALLING BUT CURRENTLY SHOULD BE AVOIDED AS IT IS TOO HARD TO USE & FAR TOO ANNOYING TO WASTE ANY TIME WITH! Other problems exist but the slider setting issue is so bad as to make this app ABSOLUTELY UNUSABLE THUS NO FURTHER COMMENTS ARE NEEDED AT THIS POINT, JUST AVOID THIS ONE.
