I have put the Easy Ring doorbell away for now. What works for me: - I could connect central unit with chiming unit. Seems to work well. - I could configure the text shown at the central unit. - I could install the app and get it to connect to the Easy Ring central unit. - I could see the image from the camera on my phone. - When the button was pressed, and the app was active, the phone noticed. The problems: - The app stopped all the time if I tried to do anything like accepting a "ring". - The central unit lost Wi-Fi connection often and became offline All in all I could not get it to work reliably on my Samsung S7, nor with my Wi-Fi setup. The concept and the price are good, and it might be that updated software will fix it. Currently not good enough for me.

The app crashes consistently on opening if connected to the idiophone Wi-Fi network. Same behavior on both Huawei P20 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S7. Tested on the sept 18 upd of the app. The app startes as normal if connected to another Wi-Fi, but then it cannot communicate or interact with the doorbell unit. Will upd review once new version is available.
