Not opening Heic format, unsupported error

It's a scam. Probably contains viruses. I downloaded it to view .HEIC files, photos taken on my ex's iphone To view on my android. It said evey file had an error. Yet another app successfully converted them to JPEGs and I could view them. Don't waste your time or safety with this app.

What a total mess! Settings are overly complicated & it won't open tiff files which is the only reason I installed it. Uninstalling after disappointing trial.
