I tried a lot of different meal planning and recipe cataloging apps; this is the best hands down. The groceries/pantry is a cool concept, but hard to manage because the grocery lists exactly how much you need for each recipe, but you buy more for most of the products, so you have to manually update items in the "Pantry." When you add something to the pantry by scanning, it also appears to only add a serving instead of the full product amount. That said, cool how it balances the pantry/grocery list.

We have been trying to manage our teenage son's migraines, and eating enough is a big part of that. I'm also trying to lose weight, so this app is amazing for suggesting foods/calories that we can both handle. I'm already purchasing the premium version, so we can both have our own profiles. The fact that the free version is so comprehensive is amazing! Every other app makes you pay to get actual recipes and meal recommendations, while Eat This Much doesn't. That alone is worthy of 5 stars.

Scan to add food is paid. Only support Google fit. Lots of clicks to add food but good if you don't have meal plan it can make one for you.

Came back yrs later cuz I remember this app being good, why are all recipes disgusting slop? Y'all eat that?? I'm sorry but just looking at those makes me feel ill.

It recommended 894 calories a day which is dangerously low. I'm 152 cm, 52 years old & workout 7 days a fortnight. I walk everywhere & average 12,000 steps a day. My active calorie burn ranges 250-800 per/day unless in bed with a cold or flu. This is seriously ridiculous. I need to lose 2kgs & because it's such a small amount (4.4 lbs), I'm ok with losing it at a quarter kg per/month. That's just 250 calorie deficit per/day. But it obviously did a massive deficit without thought to basic health.

I don't know why they think you're psychic. Most people have jobs and the meals they eat are prepared the day before. Unless you buy their "premium" version, you don't get to see meals or grocery lists until the day comes. Yeah, I could just use the current day plan for tomorrow, but it still doesn't show the grocery list for each item on one screen.
