Remeber, CRASHLIGHT® requires Location Services, GPS signal availability, and a Data Plan to work effectively.
Take note that ESR employs Location Services to deliver GPS tracking features; you must allow location permissions in the foreground and background for ESR to operate.

I love this app... I use this app almost every day. It has a few quirks, but the pros outweigh the con's IMO. On my phone, it will stop recording if left running in the background for too long (even though I have changed my app settings to allow background). On many rides I have lost big portions of my trip recording (you just need to manually keep it alive (in the foreground periodically) to avoid this). It is very difficult to add photos to recorded trips, but other than that, I love the interface. I also love the community focus. In the long term, I'm not sure I will choose this app over alternatives, but I appreciate the ESR developers and admins for providing this excellent app/resource.

Can't even install the app. It freezes at 86% or tells me there's a GPS error. Tried clearing cache and restarting phone but not luck.

Why can't you plan/build a ride before going on one? I just don't understand the point of this app. Do I do all my planning through another maps app then just use this to record? Even trying to build a group ride. How do you tell people where the ride is going?? Are people only using this app to record rides and to post pics and social stories? Why? What is the point? Barely any shared routes even showing near me in Toronto. This app makes no sense.
