There are five categories to check: Homework, Assignments, Circulars, Notice Board, and Messages. In practice, we usually check only Homework, while updates in the other categories can easily be missed. Currently, we need to open each category individually to see whether there are any new notifications. It would be very helpful to have an unread indicator (such as a badge or icon) on each category whenever new items are available. This would make it easier to identify pending updates at a glance
