Amazing & BEST company & BEST soil moisture sensors that connect to Wi-Fi! I tried Blu mat sensor for $96 that doesn't come with any app or Wi-Fi capabilities or Bluetooth & only option it has is pressing the button on top of sensor which will show a reading on tiny LCD screen versus buying Ecowitt Wi-Fi Gateway GW1100 for $30 & moisture sensors WH51 and/or WH51L & setup alerts that come to the app & email when moisture reaches certain level, and temp & humidity alerts, & battery power remaining!

Pretty good but wish it had relative dates for rain amounts. It does me no good to know how much rain there has been since the start of a week. If it's Monday, and it rained Sunday, it will show 0 for the week. It needs to show it rained 1" or whatever in the last 1/3/7/30 days. I need to know if it rained in the last 3 days, regardless of what today is, so I can water things as needed.

I'm using Ecowitt app with a WS6006E weather station, and it's working great. Live data (set at a 10-min interval) and historical data for all sensors can be displayed and graphed. As a side note, the app receives your own data, the public interface for the weather station is done through the Weather Underground which works great as well.

there's something wrong with the weekly figure on rainfall. My settings have the week starting on monday (it is sunday currently) however, the weekly figure is lower than the 24hr figure?? Is there something else I need to check to get correct info from my ecowitt weather station.? Actually it may not be the app but the firmware (v1.1.4 - the latest) on the weather station itself. Wsviewer also shows the same weekly figure.

Finds the Wi-Fi adapter, but no other networks. While connected, it constantly insists on staying connected to the adapter to function. Is it a hardware fault or a software bug? I couldn’t tell. Device returned, app uninstalled. Also, requiring a China-based cloud account just to use the app? No, thanks. Goodbye.

Connects to my GW3000 when it's on LAN, but it can't set up Wi-Fi. I connect to the gateway's Wi-Fi, but when it gets to the gateway provisioning step it just keeps asking me to switch to the device I'm already connected to over and over until the provisioning times out.

Can't use the app without registering and heavy data collection. Also, it doesn't even support alias e-mail addresses. Horrible customer experience.
