Description
This ECOXGEAR app is a next generation app for use with E-Z-GO golf carts featuring a ‘Technology Package’. For other SoundExtreme products, like SE28, SE33, and 4 Zone Controller, please use SoundExtreme app. The ECOXGEAR app allows users to select LED lighting mode (brightness, color, pattern, and speed), create custom patterns, and advanced features such as: • Set Up Modes: Use the app to set up the LED light mode for each of the Zones on your LED device. • Create and save lighting scenes. The lighting scene is like the preset of a radio. You can program the LED of each device and area to a specific color and operation for quick access. For example, creating Christmas, July 4th, Halloween, nighttime, and party scenes for one click access later. • Set Up a Group: Create and set up a group of devices (multiple soundbars, or LED Controller). This will allow all the LED lights connected to different devices to be controlled by the ECOXGEAR app at the same time. • Change and customize the names of your devices and areas, such as 28” ECOXGEAR Soundbar, headlights, floorboard lights, etc. • Password protected, others cannot access and control your lighting system.
Recent changes: The SoundExtreme LED remote control application is the next generation application. This application allows users to select the brightness, color, pattern, and speed of LEDs, create custom patterns, and advanced features.

Tons of effects. Wasn't sure what to expect at first, but the app is pretty amazing. It goes with the Ecoxgear SoundEx-boulder (amazing waterproof speaker that floats). It has so many different effects for the light, from Christmas- 4th of July themes. I would recommend this app if you have any of the Ecox gear.

Got the box 2 hours ago seems great but like others said now it's July 2026 and this app is not recognizing the device. Immediate uninstall, what's the company doing here?

All you can do is change the lights BS app I thought I could control the volume or connect more than one Defender together because connecting two or more Defenders together they Crackle so don't buy two Defenders it's not worth it don't stay connected

Doesn't even recognize the speaker when it's sitting on top of ecoxgear defender. Absolutely trash
