EctoLens: Ghost Hunting Tools

EctoLens is a ghost hunting tools app for entertainment: an EMF meter, a spirit box, a radar compass, a field scan and an AR ghost camera with a thermal filter, all driven by your phone's real sensors. Think of it as a ghost detector app for fun, wrapped in a paranormal story that only works with the lights off.

THE ECTO LENS: AN AR GHOST CAMERA
Point your camera into a dark room and watch through the lens. Walk, and the motion tracker notices. Stay long enough, and something may cross the frame. Switch spectral filters, thermal included, and photograph every apparition into your Case Log.

REAL SENSORS, REAL READINGS
The needles move because your phone's actual hardware moves them:
- EMF meter (an EMF detector) driven by the magnetometer
- Radar compass reading the same magnetic field
- Field Scan reading air pressure, light and motion
- Spirit Box (ghost box) sweeping with real audio feedback; the words it returns come from a fixed list and land in your log as EVP entries
- A sound meter that listens while you speak

Where a phone lacks a sensor, the app says so. It never invents a reading.

THE INCANTATION RITE
Find darkness. Press INCANTATION. Read the words on screen out loud: the microphone measures whether you actually spoke them. Most rites go unanswered. Some do not.

A VOICE ON THE CHANNEL
A narrative voice guides each ghost hunt and reacts to what you really do: stop walking and it notices, cover the lens and it complains, pass midnight and it changes tone. Four different arcs, one drawn per hunt. You can switch the voice off in Settings.

BUILT FOR THE DARK
The lens warns you when there is too much light. Hunt at night, in a dark hallway, a cellar, an attic, a haunted house of your own. The story is written for it, and Halloween is the night for it.

FREE TO TRY
The Ecto Lens is free for six minutes of use. One single purchase unlocks it forever: no subscription, nothing to cancel. The EMF meter, Spirit Box, Field Scan and Case Log stay free.

HONEST BY DESIGN
EctoLens is entertainment. It does not detect ghosts and nothing it shows is evidence of the paranormal. The readings are real sensor data; the hauntings are fiction. Play with the lights off anyway.

Please explore safely: watch where you walk, and only enter places you are allowed to be.
