🎮 Gameplay

Each round places rows of colourful blocks across the upper part of the arena, while the ball begins near the bottom. Once launched, it moves freely through the field and reacts to every collision. Your task is to remove all active blocks while making efficient use of the launches available for the selected difficulty.

🎯 Aiming and launching

Choose the direction of the shot and launch the ball from the lower centre of the board. Every launch uses one life, so the initial angle can influence how long the ball remains active. After release, the ball continues automatically until it falls below the arena or every block has been cleared.

🧱 Rebounds

The ball bounces from both side walls and the top edge of the arena. It also changes direction whenever it strikes a block. Carefully chosen angles can create routes that move through several parts of the board, allowing a single launch to connect with multiple targets before leaving the field.

⭐ Scoring system

Every block has its own base point value based on its row. Blocks begin at 10 points in the first row, with each following row adding another 5 points. The final reward for a hit is calculated using the active combo, so consecutive collisions during one launch can significantly increase the score.

🔥 Combo system

The combo starts again with every new launch and increases by one whenever the active ball destroys another block. Each new hit uses the current combo as a multiplier for that block's value. The sequence ends when the ball leaves the board, making longer rebound chains useful for building a higher total.

Bangova uses a limited number of launches for each run. Easy begins with 12, Medium provides 8 and Hard starts with 6. One is consumed whenever the ball is launched. If no launches remain while blocks are still active, the current run ends and the final score is displayed.

📈 Difficulty

Difficulty changes more than the number of available launches. Easy uses a starting ball speed of 11.5 and builds the field with 6 columns and 5 rows. Medium uses speed 14 with 7 columns and 6 rows. Hard increases the starting speed to 17 and creates a denser layout with 8 columns and 7 rows.

⚡ Progressive speed

The ball becomes slightly faster after each collision with a block. Both movement components increase by 1.5 percent after a successful hit, while the total speed is capped at 1.55 times the starting value. A productive shot can therefore become noticeably quicker as the combo continues.

🏆 Completing the board

The round is completed when no active blocks remain. As soon as the final block is destroyed, the ball stops and the game displays the successful result. If the last available launch finishes while blocks are still present, the run ends with the score achieved up to that moment.
