Eddy is a free surf report for over 5,000 surfing locations around the world. Weather forecasting isn't an exact science but Eddy does its best to give you accurate wave height, swell direction, wave period, water temperature, wind direction, wind speed, air temperature and high and low tide times for the next seven days.
Want to know when your favorite location will have your ideal conditions? No problem, with Eddy you can set your perfect conditions for each surfing location and press the ‘Best Time to Surf’ calculator to see when the surf will be awesome.
What’s more, Eddy has linked up with ocean preservationists, marine conservationists and surfing charities because we love the ocean and it needs our help. Press the ‘Protect Your Ocean’ button to find out how you can get involved in taking care of your ocean. That is why we want to share with you free wave forecasting, so you can find the best waves and take care of the ocean, at the same time.
Going on a surf trip? Eddy can provide you with directions to the best surfing locations and let you know what’s nearby such as places to eat, places to sleep and local surf shops.
Eddy Surf Report has an in-app purchase which gives you access to the Pro Version. The Pro Version has no advertising and allows you to add more than seven favorite locations to your personalized surf report. The Pro Version costs $0.99 per month and payment will be charged to your Google Play Store Account at confirmation of purchase.

I've tried much different surf report apps and have found Eddy to be far superior to the rest. The ads are less intrusive than competitor apps (plus, the $0.99/month rate is well worth removing them) and the actual surf report is easy to reference. It has all the features I want without tons of bloated content. The design is definitely bare bones, but I've grown to appreciate that—it's a minimalist surf report. What else do I need? Highly recommended!

I was able to find the best waves by using Eddy Surf Report. The surf forecasts were acurate, and I love all the added features such as best time to surf, directions to surf spots and the ability to search for nearby surf shops and places to eat. Planing my next surf trip and will use Eddy Surf Report helping me find all the best waves! Highly recommended!!?

Doesn't even have anywhere around Coffs Harbour to choose from. It's like over 50 km of coastline just doesn't exist! Damn joke!

Feedback button doesn't work in app, so I'm writing a review. The 'best time
to surf' feature doesn't work even when all parameters are maxed. Wave
height is not accurate for my location (Bali). Turning on and off low/high
tide doesn't do anything, and it doesn't display low/high tide. Not really
usable. I'm on a Google Pixel 2 if that helps developers/users.

Installed and it just shut down and continuously looped through setup
without ever seeing any specific information.
