Photoshop CC is the industry-standard for professional photographers, artists, and web designers, but with its numerous tools and advanced functions, it can be a very complex software to learn. For the rest of us, the more affordable (and subscription-free) Photoshop Elements is probably a better option. Don’t be fooled by its lower price… As you will see in this course, Photoshop Elements is a full-featured and very powerful photo editor. In these tutorials, Iain Anderson will reveal everything you need to know about Adobe’s alternative photo editing app.

Like the software, the course is divided in three main sections. Iain starts by introducing Quick mode, revealing how to quickly fix, crop and modify images with Photoshop Elements’ automatic features. After covering the basic mode, Iain digs deeper into the app by exploring the possibilities offered by the Guided mode. You learn how to adjust color and brightness, retouch portraits, remove objects from an image, add effects, and more. In the last section of the course, Iain digs deep into Expert mode where you learn to use layers, masking and more advanced techniques.
