Edit Text Files TXT File Maker

★★★★★ Happy. I finally found a Notepad app that's brilliant in its simplicity to Open and Edit existing TXT files, Save them as TXT files, create New and Save As... Can search inside document using Find - although a bug in Match Case. App creates a Recent Files list. An additional nice feature is Font Size (Zoom) and Font Style...although only to set as a default for all your text files but can be changed as needed. In other words, you can't use different font styles or sizes within the same document.

★★★★★ No aggressive ads, no unnecessary paywalls. Can actually save to your drives. Simple and works. Unlike other workarounds, it actually saves as .txt files. Would give 5* if there were a few more creature comforts. But, it is already great at what it does and is a great app. Highly recommend.

★★☆☆☆ Pros: Zoom, character count, text formatting. Cons: Loses the file handle + ALL entered data when toggled to Android background mode! Annoying ads & start delay. No copy & paste in "Find what:" search box. Big 32 MB storage space. Uninstalled & opted for 'Editor' by Bill Farmer, available on F-Droid: 100% free, 100% ad-free, fast start, file history, highlight syntax, only 5 (!) MB storage space.

★★☆☆☆ I tried to use it to open and edit TXT files on my Google Drive, and it crashed immediately every time. That was the entire reason I wanted the app, so RIP.
