The Eggbun series of language learning apps are all amazing, and very helpful for basics of the languages they teach. I understand that these apps take hard work to make, but a one time payment would be much better. It would drive people to actually use your app more, as monthly payments aren't very practical for younger learners. A placement test would also be nice. In my situation, I studied the basics of Hiragana a long time ago, about two years now. I got busy with school and such and then started to use these learning apps to get back in the hang of things. I found that I only 'learned' things I already knew, for the lessons aren't very advanced. I understand though that this is more so a beginner type of deal. If you want to keep your learners and app users, overall I suggest a one time payment and a placing test. On note of a one time payment, it shouldn't be in the app store itself. Keeping the demo would be ideal so people can see if they enjoy using Eggbun and learn from using the program. But the monthly payments simply drive people away. A lot of language apps use this, and then lose their learners. But, props to you for giving a large demo instead of simply restricting lessons due to being a 'non-premium' member. Overall, amazing. But needs improvement.

I was fully prepared to give this app a shot. I bought a month membership. However, in the first day of having it, I've had a bit of trouble. It'll freeze before finishing a lesson, causing me to have to restart the lesson multiple times. Whenever I close the app and come back, it doesn't recognize my premium membership (and it gives me an error when I hit Restore) until after I delete and reinstall the app. Then the cycle continues again. I really want to like this concept, but it's too frustrating for me to keep.

I didn't really like this because it doesnt really do anything to keep what you learn in your head. The reviews are very short, and trying to type is very hard on the small keyboard they give you. I saw the option to change it but my phone doesnt have the Japanese capability theirs does which makes it even harder. I suppose its just my learning style though, not the apps fault, but i dont think texting is the way to learn. Doesnt mean it wont help many others out though!

Why do you have to get eggbun premium to learn Japanese? Learning from an
app should be free. Oh and it says you can buy a coffee and it is the same
price as eggbun premium
