Description

Orbitals are the states that electrons occupy in atoms. The size and shape of each orbital, and their enumeration, gives insight into the periodic table, chemical bonding, and quantum mechanics. Electron Orbitals is an interactive tool for visually studying these states. Includes all orbitals up to energy level 12.

Recent changes:
Update for Android 17 (Cinnamon Bun) and bugfixes. Recent changes: added a pause button for stopping the color rotation, this app is now open source, uses edge-to-edge design, energy levels up to 12, anti-aliased coordinate axes, and color blind modes.

Is it possible to display the non-hybridized orbitals? Edit: Thanks, I actually meant the normal m-orbitals (as opposed to the |m|-orbitals often used in chemistry like px and py). And you can toogle that with the big fat R/C button that I didn't notice
