EmoConnect

From PPG and motion recording to experiment-based data management.

EmoConnect is an app that connects to the wrist-worn EmoConnect measurement device to collect and store PPG (photoplethysmography) and motion data. Researchers and experimenters can monitor signals in real time and record experiment details, participant information, and events together.

View PPG and 9-axis motion in real time
• View PPG and motion data collected at 50 Hz from the EmoConnect device.
• See 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer signals in graphs.
• Save recorded signals as CSV files for research and analysis.
Link experiments and participants to each measurement
• Select an experiment and enter participant information to prepare for measurement.
• Experiment and participant information is saved together with each measurement record.
• Manage data from multiple participants, organized by experiment.
Mark key moments as events
• During measurement, select and log events configured for the experiment.
• Record experiment phases or key moments, such as rest or walking, alongside the signal data.
• Use logged events to segment measurement periods and analyze your data.
Manage measurement records at a glance
• Search by experiment name or participant and browse measurement records by date.
• Data is continuously saved to file during measurement.
• If the app closes unexpectedly, any data saved to file before it closed can be found in your measurement records after you relaunch the app.
Easy web downloads with DataHub integration
• Easily upload data measured and saved in the app to the DataHub platform.
• View data by experiment on the DataHub website and download the measurement files you need.
• Use the data downloaded to your PC for research and analysis.
• Check the upload status of each file in the app to keep track of transfers.

Notes

Signal measurement requires a compatible EmoConnect device and a Bluetooth connection.
DataHub integration requires an account login and an internet connection.
