Works great, and seems secure. No Android permissions requested, and works offline (in airplane mode). The privacy policy is a little confusing, though, and seems to suggest that some info may be shared with unnamed third parties. It would be good to have a more explicit description of potential third party sharing. It may just be typical boilerplate language, but an encryption app needs everything to be clearly and explicitly stated. The developer may need the services of a lawyer! 😀

Edit and Added - does not work anymore with Samsung S21 Ultra with 13th December update 2021 I love this app. I use totaly wacko password that I generated with keepass and I click on encrypt button like 10 times and my message is like a wall of text of rubbish unless you have pass and press decrypt 10 times. This should be default message encryption for hackers, terrorists and more? Am I wrong or not?

I have NFC tags and do not want people reading them. Problem is android does not support the special NFC tags that do authentication. So..... copy text to app, add password, paste the encrypted text to NFC, done. Now you do need the app to decrypt, but that is fine.

App works, bad security. This app uses the AES/CBC/PKCS5Padding algorithm which produces the same output for denticle messages: that's a security flaw. Also, the app connects to the internet, so I can't be sure that it's not sending my data to the creator of the app.

Uses vulnerable CBC mode for AES. Same password and text produce same ciphertext, which means the IV is not random and unique == INSECURE. Avoid. UI is ugly.
