Description

FEN is the acronym for Forsyth-Edwards Notation, named after David Forsyth, a Scottish journalist who invented this notation and Steven Edwards who adapted it to make it unambiguous and compatible with computers. The FEN notation uses a single line to describe the contents of each box in rows from top to bottom. Endless series of random chess position to practice with.
You can also save FEN notation to clipboard and save image of chessboard.
