Description

The Ensisanat application has been developed to support the Finnish language learning of toddler-aged children.

The application contains 64 words to learn, divided into 8 themes: animals, toys, food, clothes, body parts, vehicles, outdoors and home.

Each theme features a separate learning mode and a practice mode for the words. In learning mode the child can tap on 8 different images and hear the words spoken aloud.
In practice mode the child gets to utilise the learned words in simple games. The practice mode gameplay is easy enough that even 1-year-old children can use the application under adult supervision.

The colourful images, amusing sound effects and inspiring practice modes guarantee an educational but also entertaining learning experience for first words.
