Designed to enhance your experience of the beautiful Epping Forest, this walking app offers access to 20 unique trails, each showcasing the diverse beauty and rich heritage of this wonderful ancient Forest.
From majestic ancient woodlands to tranquil ponds and historical monuments, each trail provides you with a unique journey through Epping Forest, with details of how to get to them by public transport. In the app you will find:
10 official waymarked trails by the City of London Corporation
The entire 14-mile route of the Epping Forest Big Walk, covering the whole length of the Forest from Manor Park in East London to Bell Common in Epping, Essex
5 specially curated trails of various lengths, with a mix of linear and circular routes.
Each walk includes GPS navigation to help you find your way and interesting waypoints to learn more about the history and nature of the forest while you walk. This works offline, meaning no internet or phone signal is required when using the app in your Forest walks.
The app also provides you with essential information that helps you plan your walk. It includes important guidance so that you can enjoy the Forest responsibly and learn how you can help to preserve and protect Epping Forest and its irreplaceable biodiversity, culture and heritage now and for generations to come.

Great little app, looking forward to the big walk :D The initial page can be a little annoying, but you can swipe through it, so you don't need to try and hit the next button

Fantastic app which contains the Big Walk (split into 5) and other walks. Maps for each walk also show your current position and what direction you were facing so even in darkness I was able to easily complete the Big Walk. Maps also contain information markers which explain the area you're walking through. Battery usage wasn't bad at all

I can't use this on my smartphone. The 'next' button is inaccessible, however I set the display size, which brand I can't get past the intro screen

Just give me a PDF map of the walks. That's all, nothing else. You've overcomplicated it. Way too much text, just want a simple MAP.
