This Demo contains all the features of the full version, except for the ability to import your own sounds and sample from external sources.

Create sampled beats the original 90's way using eSPi.
The SP-1200 was the primary tool of many legendary hip-hop beatmakers and house music producers in the 90's.
It is well known for its gritty sound and simple but effective workflow.

Now with eSPi you get to experience this machine right at your fingertips, on your iPad.
Import samples or record them yourself, chop them up, pitch them and sequence them within the app.

Features include multiple filters, effects, a compressor, and most importantly the best emulation of the gritty signature sound produced by the SP-1200* when pitching samples up & down.

eSPi is also available on Mac, Linux & PC.

★★★★★ Let me start by saying I bought the pc app and love it I also used the beta web app on my phone when it first came out and while it wasn't perfect it was still great I purchased this new android version, and it seems the scaling is wrong for my device, so I couldn't see the record button or enlarge the lcd screen, so I got my refund but once these issues get fixed I will definitely be purchasing this again ,,,, thanks for all the work you put in this great app. Salute Low Hiss

★★☆☆☆ Doesn't save. Gives the option to save. But never saves. Hangs up on the save screen. Although it doesn't freeze. It just doesn't save. Definitely stopping me from getting the full version. Where do these wav files save too on my device?

★★☆☆☆ Look, I'm nobody's fool when it comes to music tech, but this thing is ridiculously hard to figure out. I've been trying to work it out for a couple of days now & I just give up! It shouldn't be this hard to figure out these music apps. Why developers make them so hard & obscure is beyond me.... Naff!

★★☆☆☆ The app doesn't correctly resize to fit my screen. By default, the app loads in full screen horizontal mode, but the actual "pads" aren't visible on screen, with no option to resize. I'd like a to see if this app suffers from the same latency issues that the iOS and Windows versions do, and will change my review once this issues resolved, and I'm able to test it.
