ESV explained the difference. With the paid version you can click on just about any word, and you will get translations and definitions that really help with context. Also, when you click on a geographical location, the app will explain where it is as we know today; and if possible, the app will tell you the modern name of the city. I was incorrectly under the impression that those features were in the free version. Thus, the paid app has a lot more than just a Bible, and well worth the money.

Huge rip off, paid $20 just for Olive Tree to use God's word to send me advertisements for their in-app purchases, no way to refund. Shame on you guys.

This new update has completely messed up my favorites. I had all my modules
placed in order as I need them. Now they are all over the place. When I try
to correct the order of favorites, it resorts back to the screwed up order
again. Every time on restart or reopening my favorites, it goes back to
disarray. Very frustrating.

App is slow starting and often locks up on open lately. Please look into problem. Samsung S20 Update: This particular is the problem. Install the regular OLIVE TREE BIBLE instead and choose ESV strongs as your default Bible. Problem solved. Review of this app stands at 1 5 stars for the regular app.
