A great app gives the impression of warmth even when it's actually quite cold, I downloaded it for my tablet, and it makes a brilliant bedside table fire

Not bad Video clip could be longer. Realistic sound and not full of ads, so qualifies as the best fireplace sim I've tested. Also, to those who don't like the crackling: build a real fire sometime and listen to it.

Nice Little Campfire The sound is a little unrealistic. But, hey, if you don't have access to the real thing, it's a nice little campfire.
★☆☆☆☆A Google User· Jun 23, 2012
Poor execution This app is just a looped video. You can touch the screen (no multitouch) to create a single glowing orb that is supposed to resemble a spark (it doesn't). The video clip is fuzzy, and it looks to be about half a second-long, which creates a jerky, lagging effect.
★★☆☆☆A Google User· Jun 6, 2013
OK, but could be a lot better The looping is easy to spot. You can make a total of one spark at a time that doesn't even attempt to blend in with the fire. The sound loop was short and repetitive.
