Etherlords: Heroes and Dragons

★★★★★ I like the offline mode, that's why I'll rate this game into 5! So keep up the good work #DEVELOPERS. I hope all your games can switch to #OFFLINE mode.

★★★★★ I like the game in principle, and I have played several of Nival's games before so I knew what to expect going in, but this one is woefully lacking in directions and instructions that are necessary to understand how to succeed. In particular, information on how to complete the world shards is ridiculously lacking. For instance, you are told that the color of the tile determines the kind of terrain that is created when you choose it, but you are never told what color corresponds to what type, nor is there any in-game help you can access to find out. You are left to figure it out on your own. Worse than that, however, is the fact that you are never advised about how to choose tiles so as to make the colored ones available in the first place. If you're like me, you will be reduced to randomly choosing tiles, hoping that something favorable will by chance result. (There are other, similar, though less egregious, omissions riddling the game, unfortunately). It's really sloppy design wotk, imho..which is a shame, since this seems to be a fun and interesting game at its core. Unfortunately, then, unless you're ready to grind and/or spend some cash, I would advise against wasting time on this. OTOH, if you choose to do one of those things, there is some actual fun to be had, which is why I gave it four stars instead of, say, an overly generous two.

★★★★★ A great game. Rewards for power are good however it seems like the powerful just become more powerful. But the best strategy is arranging it so the enemy is weak against the creatures it is forced to hit and you are strong. IT IS NOT BORING. In events could we get a NON ETHER SUPERIOR OR RARE if we don't get the legendary or they (events) seem a bit useless and also quite rare comparatively. I would also like the addition of an upgrade costing a lot of Ether/Valour (NOT real money) to change an Ether creature to a Non Ether creature because I get a lot of Ether creatures and it gets a bit annoying having 2 legendaries who are both Ether (not upgradeable).

★★☆☆☆ Played for a while and had no problems, but now I can't get the game to load certain areas..I spent some money but I'm glad not alot because I can barely play the game now that it has issues.

★★☆☆☆ Needs to many permissions. No game should need this many.
