Euchre Circle

Euchre Circle runs your progressive euchre group, from “Who’s in on Thursday?” to the season standings.

Plan the euchre nights
• Set when your group plays: every week, every 2 weeks, once a month, or the 1st and 3rd Thursday.
• Line up who’s hosting, with the address one tap from Maps.
• Move a euchre night, change its start time, or call it off, and text everyone the news from your own phone.
• Reminders on your phone before each euchre night, at the times your organizer sets (turn them on in Me).

See who’s coming
• Everyone taps “I’m in” or “Can’t make it.”
• Full house? A waitlist fills open seats in the order people replied.
• Answer for the friend who phones you instead.
• Short a player? Text your subs a link, and the first to say yes gets the seat.

Play the night
• Sign everyone in as they arrive, with subs and dues marked.
• The app seats everyone: tables of four, partners across from each other, and a scorekeeper at each table.
• Not everyone needs the app: only the organizer and whoever keeps score at each table.
• When the numbers don’t come out in fours, 1 to 3 players sit out each round, in turn, and nobody sits out twice before everyone has sat out once.
• One tap a hand, for the pair that scored: +1, March +2, Loner +4 (it asks who went alone) or Euchred them +2. Thrown-in hands and reneges too. The app counts the hands: Round 3 · Hand 5 of 8.
• When every table has finished the round, winners move up a table and losers stay (at the head table, winners stay and losers go to the bottom), and everyone gets a new partner. “Where do I go?” shows everyone their next table, seat and partner.
• Undo a hand, fix a round, and handle late arrivals and players who go home early. A tied table goes to the pair that reached that score first.
• Follow every table on the live scoreboard, and your night so far, round by round (with a subscription).

Your group, your house rules
• Hands per round, rounds per night and what each hand is worth, or play to points.
• Points for sitting out, the head table’s bell, defending alone, a euchred loner for 4, a loner bonus and super euchre: all off until your organizer turns them on.
• Dues, and a season that runs by the calendar year or your own months.

Prizes and standings
• Write your own prize list: most points, 2nd and 3rd most points, most loners, most rounds won, fewest points for the booby prize, or your own pick.
• Points belong to the player, not the seat, so yours follow you to every table and partner, and nobody adds up tally cards at the end of the night.
• Tonight’s winners and a brag card to share, free. Everyone’s points for the night, season standings and the winners log come with the subscription.

Your cards, your table
Euchre Circle keeps score; it doesn’t play cards or referee. Your group plays with its own decks, the way it always has, and each table’s scorekeeper taps what happened. Scores are points only: prizes and dues are notes, and the app never handles your group’s money.

Take a look first
Not in a group yet? Tap Take a look first for your own private sample group, with pretend players, three euchre nights already played and a practice night to try.

Made for groups who’ve kept euchre tally cards for years: large text by default, no passwords, and nothing to set up you don’t want.

Subscription
Saying “I’m in”, keeping score and finding your seat are always free. The live scoreboard, season standings, the winners log and your stats are a subscription: $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year in the US (Google Play shows the price in Canada). One subscription covers every Euchre Circle group you play in. It is bought and managed through Google Play and renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in the Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions; you keep it until the end of the period you paid for.

Game night fixes: after a finished night, Home moves straight on to your next game night. A night that was never finished is clearly marked so you can wrap it up. "No winners tonight" now saves the night with no prize winners. If the next night is cancelled, Home still links to the schedule, and your reply counts for the night after. Home refreshes when you come back to the app. Tapping the lit tab takes you back to that tab. Plus smaller fixes.
