dinner — and tells everyone exactly what they owe.
No account. No setup. Open it and record the first expense.
SPLIT A BILL IN SECONDS
• Split equally, by exact amounts, by percentage or by shares
• Leave someone out of a round they did not drink
• Several people paid towards one bill? Record what each of them put in
• The category picks itself from what you type
IT WORKS WITH PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE THE APP
Splitting a cab with a flatmate who will never install this is the normal case,
not the exception. Add anyone by name and start tracking what they owe you.
Add their email later and the same expenses appear on their phone.
GROUPS FOR TRIPS AND FLATS
• A group for the Goa trip, a group for the flat, or no group at all
• Set how a group usually splits once and every new expense starts that way
• Invite by link — it opens straight in the app
• Balances, totals, and the shortest set of payments that settles everyone up
• Leave a group when you are square
A LEDGER OF WHAT YOU ACTUALLY PAID
Beyond who owes what, Even Pay keeps a personal month-by-month ledger: what
went out, what came back, and what is still owed to you. Add your own cash
spending alongside the shared bills to see a full month.
THE NUMBERS ALWAYS ADD UP
Split 100 three ways and it is 33, 33 and 34 — never 33.33 each. Every amount
is whole paise throughout, so a group can always settle to exactly zero. No
rounding dust, no balance that will not clear.
PROPERLY OFFLINE
Everything is recorded on your phone first and synced afterwards. On a trek, in
a basement restaurant, on a flight — it makes no difference. Sign in and it
syncs across your devices and shares with the people you split with.
YOUR DATA IS YOURS
• Export any group, or your whole history, as a CSV for a spreadsheet
• Delete your account from inside the app
• No location, no contacts, no photos, no phone number
• Read the full privacy policy at evenpay.co.in
FREE, WITH ONE OPTIONAL PURCHASE
Every feature is free. A single banner advert appears on list screens, and a
one-off purchase removes it permanently. The purchase does not unlock anything
— there is nothing behind a paywall.
Even Pay is for splitting rent, trips, dinners, groceries, cabs and bills with
friends, flatmates, partners and colleagues — and for knowing, without
arithmetic or awkwardness, exactly who owes what.
Recent changes:
Sharing a phone works properly now. Signing in with a different account
clears the previous one, and an app that had gone empty after switching
accounts fills again on the next sync.
Settling up with a friend clears the right debts, even when you share more
than one group with them.
Activity no longer stops at 200 entries - it loads more as you scroll - and
every tab shows a spinner while it is fetching.
Also fixed: filter buttons that were hard to read in light mode.
