Until they stopped updating it Final Countdown was the best countdown app. This one is the best of the many I have tried since. Easy to use and set recurrences of different types

Simple and sexy can count down and up, scrolling in date month year was a breeze didn't have to go through the whole calendar like most apps. This is my replacement for the final countdown app

FALSE ADVERTISING- advertising as count up clock, but can't use that unless you buy the upgrade

Widget now no longer works, just displays ”error”, removing and adding widget does not resolve issue, widget continues to display the word ”Error” restart phone also does not work. New version no longer displays "ERROR" but now permanently displays"LOADING". ***uninstalling to use alternative app!***
