This app provides recurring reminders for the calendar events and fully solves the issue.
HOW IT WORKS
When a calendar reminder is triggered by the system a message is sent. This app captures the message and starts its work...
With this app you can configure the sound, vibration (vibration patterns are allowed) type and the pattern, led color, repeat interval and much more for the alerts in your Google calendars.
Also you can configure how a reminder stops: when manually stopped, when the event starts or when the event ends.
Regular users can configure global settings, that are active for all the calendars, but PRO users can configure these options locally for each calendar.
PRO users can access to future exclusive functions and has priority technical support. Also PRO users don't view Ads.
PREPARATION
You will need to set the sounds for each calendar, or a single overall sound for all calendars. You also need to disable notifications in your calendar application.
PRO
The PRO version allows many extra features such as the ability to configure each calendar separately, the ability to define don't do not disturb periods (e.g. don't receive notifications for events from your work calendar during the weekends), set up to 4 shortcuts to easily delay alarms, and remove Ads.
SETTINGS
For each of your calendars you can set:
* Repeat alerts Interval * Do not disturb periods (nights, weekends, ...) * Sound alert * Vibration pattern and duration * LED color (if your phone supports it), LED on/off blink speed
Also, the app can detect some strings into events title/description then cancel sounds, vibrations, put the phone into priority or silent mode, airplane mode,... [PRO]
In addition, you can set if you want alerts to be displayed in the statusbar or using a full screen popup, if you want alerts to be displayed over the lockscreen, if the screen turns on automatically when a alert is triggered ...

So far no ads, and I could opt out of all data collections that they use. And also finally an agenda app that can stimulate alarms! No freaking weak notifications! Actual alarms! Downside: you can't view all agenda items, and it always displays agenda items in list form. But if you combine it with any other agenda app you can just manage your agenda items inside the other agenda app and this one will just act as the alarm for them.

Excellent. I tried this app after my earlier reminder app stopped working. This app has all that I needed : Integration with Google calendar, ability to define snooze period from notification etc. Simply put, a superb app. Suggestion to developer: Please incorporate feature to change views i.e. the ability to see more events with occurrence time in a single screen without scrolling.

App stopped reliably notifying calendar events on Android 14 despite changing many settings. Still love the idea of this app but can't miss reminders anymore

I like this app in general because it allows me to control when I get notifications for calendar appointments and allows me to get repeat alerts by default. The only problem is that the app plays alerts as if they are alarms. So, if you don't have Done Not Disturb blocking alarms you will get alerts while do not disturb is turned on. This prevents you using alarms on your phone, like from your clock.

I really like this app, because it keeps reminding me to do my tasks. However, recently it just stopped working, no notifications are shown, only if I open the app. Then all of my previous notifications are shown at the same time. Very annoying, because of this I missed some important events... I'm using MIUI 12.5.1 on a Redmi Note 9 pro 5 stars if this problem is fixed.
