I have been a long time user of Nova Launcher, but after finding Evie, I'm sold moving over. Porting over was a snap, set up is clean and the impact on my battery is pronounced (in a good way). Scaling the UI is great and it plays well with Samsung themes (Nova was roundabout with support).

This launcher gave me a very simple and clean Android experience. Perhaps make the settings screen cooler.

I have used this launcher for 4 or 5 years and so far it is the cleanest, fastest, most reliable launcher I have ever used. The search bar opens immediately and searches in real time and is, in my opinion, more useful than even the iPhone's native search feature. The app drawer, just like the search bar, looks modern, is clutter-free, opens with a responsive animation and is customizable. Apps can also be individually customized with icon packs if you're into that. Best launcher in my opinion.

White overlay in portrait mode. This launcher would be worth 5 starts without a doubt but I always get a white overlay in the lower half of the tablet in portrait mode. Only rebooting helps. Hope you find way to fix it!

Many annoyances. Why can't the size be increased in vertical drawer? Why is the dock height so inconsistent especially in combination with navbar on/off? Why can't I set the padding around the screen?

sadly as much as i love evie, it's dead. the last update from devs came a year ago and no new features are being added. some android 10 builds are breaking evie and things like work mode straight up don't work I hope one day we'll find an alternative that was as good as this launcher
