Great app. Very flexible. A must for ND110 use Just wish I'd found this earlier - simple and effective once you understand what it's doing and really useful when using strong ND filters. Those reviewers marking it down because it stops at 9 stops don't understand how it works - look at the equivalent exposure and you'll understand. By default I think it uses a current exposure of 30secs - when you go to +9 stops adjustment this becomes 256 minutes of equivalent exposure! If you went to 10 stops this would be 512 minutes (are you really going to stand there with the camera in Bulb mode for 8 hours?). Once the current exposure is set to something more reasonable (e.g. in most conditions you'd likely be at 1/30th or above) you can then dial in 10 or more stops adjustment (I.e. the app is placing an upper limit on the equivalent exposure of 256 minutes).

Great for calculating night exposures! Most modern cameras won't meter past 30 seconds so taking photos at night can be a long winded case of trial and error. But with this app you can crank your camera up to ISO 3200 to get a meter reading and even take a fast test shot then calculate what the exposure would need to be with the ISO turned back down at 100! Now you can combine your cameras meter with this app to calculate long exposures of 16 minutes or more depending on your cameras maximum ISO!

simple and easy, great app does the job as it says, simple and straight forward, thanks

Some calculations are off, when the app works This app suffers the same problem as some other ND apps: it bases the calculations off of the preset camera shutter speeds versus the actual math, which results in inaccurate calculations of 6.25% once you start getting past a certain base exposure (the actual point at which it goes inaccurate is dependent on the base exposure setting). For example, do the math on a 1 second base exposure using an ND64 (6 stop) filter and compare it. 6.25% off is huge in long exposure photography.

Not calculating correctly!! The interface is great and exactly what i'm looking for, but it does not calculate correctly. If you decrease ISO, it will also increase the Fstop# (decrease aperture size). This is the opposite of what should happen. If you decrease ISO, your aperture should get larger, not smaller (should lower Fstop#).
