Description by DULAS LABS(from Google Play)
One letter, several categories and answers you will still be talking about after the round. Extreme Categories is a word game for friends and family — together around a table or online, each on your own phone.
Does “Puss in Boots” count as a historical figure? Answers like that are where the fun begins. After each round, you review entries together, settle disagreements and can reward creativity.
ONLINE WITH YOUR OWN GROUP Create a room and share its code with your friends. Everyone enters answers on their own device. You play with people you invite: there is no random matchmaking and no play against bots. Each player needs the app and an internet connection to join an online game.
ONE LETTER, LOTS OF POSSIBILITIES Everyone gets the same randomly selected letter. Find answers for the categories, keep an eye on the timer and use the STOP button. Then compare what you came up with. The same starting letter can lead to very different ideas!
REVIEW, DISCUSS AND VOTE Your group judges the answers. Flag an entry you disagree with, discuss it in the chat and cast your vote. It is a game of quick thinking, unexpected connections and convincing your friends that your answer deserves a place.
PLAY AROUND THE TABLE Grab some paper and pens. In the at-home mode, the app helps you draw letters, choose categories, keep time and record scores. All at-home options are available without Premium, including your own categories.
WHAT CAN YOU PLAY WITHOUT PREMIUM? • Online games for 2 to 8 players. • The EXTREME category pack. • Games of 3 or 5 rounds, with 2 minutes per round. • All at-home game options.
Other category packs, longer online games and other available round times can be unlocked with Premium or a rewarded ad for that room. Settings unlocked by the host apply to everyone in that room. The version without Premium contains ads. A one-time Premium purchase removes ads and unlocks the Premium options.
THREE LANGUAGES Choose English, German or Polish in the app menu. Online categories use the same room language for every player, based on the host's language when the room is created.
Bring your own group and see where one letter takes you.
Recent changes: • Fixed ad display in home and online games. • Fixed unlocking rooms with advanced settings for players without Premium.
