Description
Free App Lock for 30 days - using the most advanced biometric available on smartphones.
Available on the Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S4, Note 2, HTC One, and most recently on the Sony Xperia Z!
- NOW USING THE FRONT FACING CAMERA
Secure and protect your most private and confidential apps with the amazing scientific power of eye vein biometrics - The Eyeprint!
Be the first to try the brand new beta of this safety and security app from EyeVerify. Protect your privacy by locking your messages, banking app, photos, SMS or contacts.
You can choose the apps you want to lock, leaving less important apps open for easy access by you, your kids, or anyone who might borrow your Galaxy S3 or other compatible device.
When you launch the Eyeprint App Lock Beta – you will enroll your own Eyeprint by taking your picture with the front facing camera. Then only you can access your locked apps. Eyeprints are unique to you, no other person in the world has the same Eyeprints as you do. Just like your unique DNA or fingerprints – only better – because this works using your phone. When you take a picture of your face using the app, we use the unique vein patterns in the corner of your eyes to create and match you unique Eyeprints.
Eyeprint App lock now has improved accuracy! Users now have the ability to enroll multiple times during set up to provide more accurate eyeprints. Added gaze detection makes for faster image capturing, and added device administrator makes for a more secure device.

Outstanding This is the best app till date, the way it detects my eye movement is amazing.....so cool...!!

Excellent It's a beta and it's great. But the one thing you should consider fixing is when you unlock an app that was originally locked, it doesn't lock back up when this app is closed. Make it so that when you finish with the app to relock itself with the eyeprint. Overall, excellent Unfortunately I have to uninstall due to serious battery usage from this app.

Functional It works, but shining my Galaxy S3 light straight into my eyes is pretty unpleasant. It allows it to work with low ambient lighting though, so I suppose it can be forgiven. Plus the description says it'll be less bright in the future.

Useful for certain apps I feel very secure using this app for my sensitive apps like banking and emails. It would be nice to use the forward facing camera for the verification. I also checked my battery consumption a few days after installing, apparently the idle app has used 40% of my total battery since install. It's understandable, but still a lot. All in all, I like the application, I can see it being very useful for people who want to be secure.

jet del this is a battery drainer...don't use.....

Glasses During trying to get it to work... but the app is surrounded in white, and it makes my glasses glare, and it won't detect my eyes

Not "the most secure" technology As someone who does security for a living, this was easy to bypass and would like to help. First...you printed your apps name all over the lock screen. This is bad because I can just find this app and uninstall the security app and have full rights. Other methods to bypass this app include force stopping the app in app manager and clearing the cache. I think the biggest way to secure it better is to not advertise the lock brand. Update: I found 4 more holes to bypass.(Hint 1: A widget lets you in.)
★★☆☆☆
Very poor app Took a dozen tries to even set up, it kept crashing. Then when I was actually a Le to use it to unlock an app, I found that the app was no longer protected when I exited and went back in. Apparently you need to re select the app to lock each time you open them. Very poor, even for a beta release. Nice concept, needs tons more work.
