Digital account opening platform verifying identity document and bio –metric data.
1. Eligibility: Account opening shall only be applicable for natural person who have valid NID Document.
2. Type of e-KYC:
 Simplified: Deposit or Withdrawal not exceeding BDT 1,00,000 per month in a checking account. Customer will get account number instantly.
 Regular: Deposit or Withdrawal exceeding BDT 1,00,000 per month in a checking account.
Customer will get account number after providing required documents to account opening Branch.
3. On Boarding Model:
 Mobile App: “EZY Bank” Apps to be installed from Google Play Store or App Store for Android & i-Phone respectively. This is self-onboarding model.
 Web Version: Web version is available for opening account from Laptop & Desktop. This is also self-onboarding model.
 Assisted Version: Assisted version is available for customer who will visit the Branch for account opening or Bank’s representative will visit customer’s premises for account opening with a device.
4. Nature of Account: Initially Single Account can be open and later joint account will be available.
5. Requirements for account opening:
 Valid NID of an applicant and
 Photo of Nominee and any ID number of Nominee.
6. Duplication Checking:
 NID & Date of Birth or
 Mobile Number & Date of Birth
If any matches found with above combination account cannot be opened since the customer has existing relationship with Bank.
