I've tried several different AI text games, and most are just s*x chatbots. This is an actual text-based adventure game with AI storytelling. AI will forget things. That's why it's imperative to keep up with story cards, memory fragments, and the summary. Subscriptions are a bit pricey, but still not the most expensive out there, especially for how good this one is. I put over 300 hours in a single story for a character based in a specific video game universe.

Currently, my favorite take on recreational AI chat. This is adventure-based, but it can absolutely be used in a character-based manner. You receive 200 free gems daily (midnight UTC), and the cheapest AI model only costs 1 gem per turn. If you create an adventure (after a 400 gem deposit, refunded on adventure approval), you get paid 1 gem for every turn played (including your own turns, potentially letting you play for free). NSFW content allowed, without any text censoring. Zero ads.

It was going fine for a bit. But then it started getting multiple details wrong, and I had to waste gems correcting it. When I asked it to go back and check the information, I found that it only maintains information up to a certain point before it starts recreating the story. Speaking of gems, the more you respond, the more it uses. And if the Service is only better at higher tier subscriptions, then that's even worse. I paid for the starter, but I regretted it after a while.

it's great.... but its memory isn't very good. I have tried many of the narrators, but it keeps forgetting things, mostly forgets things that just had happened, I put stuff in the details of the world when I create and say it during story, but gets forgotten. Its memory has been getting worse. Still fun to get ideas for stories out of my head.
