FaceLens: Face Shape Detector

Not sure what your face shape is? FaceLens is a face shape detector that reads a selfie or photo and sorts your face into one of six shapes: oval, round, square, heart, diamond or oblong. Once you know your shape, FaceLens shows hairstyles and glasses that suit it, so you can choose a haircut or new frames with confidence instead of guessing.

Many people pick a haircut or glasses based on what looks good on someone else. Your face shape is a useful starting point because it affects how a hairstyle frames your face and how a frame balances your features. FaceLens makes that starting point easy to find.

STYLE TIPS BY FACE SHAPE

• Oval: most hairstyles and frames suit you, so you have the most options.
• Round: angular frames and styles with height on top can add definition.
• Square: soft, rounded frames and layered hair can balance a strong jawline.
• Heart: frames wider at the bottom and side-swept hairstyles can balance a wider forehead.
• Diamond: oval-shaped frames and styles that add volume at the jaw can soften your cheekbones.
• Oblong: wider frames and fringes or side volume can shorten a long face.
