With WearOS 6 (July 2025), Facer introduced a new architecture supporting Google’s Watch Face Format – way more performant especially on battery life. Hundreds of thousands of faces ready at launch – new faces released daily!

Watches that shipped with WearOS 5 & haven’t received WearOS 6 yet – our app shows a selection of faces available to download on Google Play. We expect these watches to update to WearOS 6 soon (newer Pixel & Samsung Galaxy watches already updated).

Watches that launched with WearOS 3 or 4, even if updated to WearOS 5 – our legacy Facer app continues to work with our massive catalog. HOWEVER, Google removed all legacy watch apps including ours from the Play Store January 14th, 2026.
- New downloads of our legacy watch app & new purchases will not be possible via Google Play on these older watches.
- If you already have our legacy watch app installed, subscriptions & purchased faces will keep working; however, you will not be able to renew your subscription or purchase new faces via the Play Store unless your watch updates to Wear OS 6.

Wish there ain't $1 or 2 dollars on that app to buy because there some of that I like to have it on my galaxy watch 8. Wish there be free and not try buying it soming I like or try it. Be great idea as live wallpaper 3D and more characters like the bleach or Dragon Ball Z or more cartoons and so much more Karimi and other cute things and fun and more animals.

Paid money for a lot of different watch faces and loved the product! But now when I go to put most of them on, they say they're "unavailable" with a msg saying "Get Facer Premium to unlock this and more"... Did I just waste my money? 😭 Edit: Thank you for your response. I understand now why I lost access. Hopefully I will get some of them back soon. Appreciate the help! 👍

Works great, but why does every watch face with location features shows my location as New York? I am nowhere near New York... it's not in any watch or phone setting, so it has to be coming from the app.

Love this, the best watch face app. Update: This might be the end for facer. The watch faces that I purchased are not compatible anymore, and it seems like alot of customers are complaining about the same thing. It kinda feels like I've been ripped off.

Facer was my go-to, but I purchased a watch face months ago, and now it's telling me I have to buy it again in order to use it. I'm not going to purchase a watch face twice in order to use it once you pay for it, It should always be yours.
