Fairsky: Local Weather Radar

Fairsky is a full weather app with a better question on top: can I ___ today? It works anywhere in the world. Mow the lawn, stain the deck, go for a run, grill out, take the boat out. Fairsky answers GO, WAIT or NO for 47 activities, with the reason and the next good window.

Most apps say it's 58° and breezy. Fairsky says: "Mow the lawn: good until sunset. Dry grass, no rain for days."

A FULL WEATHER APP
- Worldwide forecasts in your units, hour by hour and up to 10 days ahead: National Weather Service in the US, MET Norway elsewhere
- Wind and gusts, feels-like, humidity and dew point, UV index (estimated), sunrise, sunset and moon phase, pressure trend and visibility
- Radar in the US and Canada: a one-hour US loop (two with Plus) and Canada's latest ECCC image; lightning and next-hour rain with Plus (US)
- Severe weather warnings for your US places, in the National Weather Service's own words; Canada links to Environment Canada's
- A Today screen you can arrange, with your starred activities

47 ACTIVITIES, ONE PLAIN ANSWER EACH
- Around the yard: mowing, seeding and feeding the lawn, watering and aerating, weed spray and pre-emergent, planting and mulch, the harvest, and frost covers
- Home exterior: deck stain and exterior paint, concrete and driveway sealing, pressure-washing and gutters, roof work and caulking, sod, garage epoxy, holiday lights and pipe freezes
- Outdoor life: the grill and the campfire, burning brush, parties and picnics, laundry on the line, washing the car, walking the dog and the playground
- Sports & recreation: running, cycling and hiking, golf and fishing, the boat or kayak, the beach, stargazing and golden-hour photos, drones and kites
- Getting around: the commute, moving day, flight-day weather

Is it too windy to spray? Too cold to pour concrete? Too windy to golf? Clear enough for stargazing tonight? A good day to hang laundry outside? Will my pipes freeze tonight?

EVERY VERDICT SHOWS ITS WORK
Tap a verdict to see the hours behind it and the one that broke the rule. Published thresholds (paint and stain data sheets, ACI concreting guidance, extension advice) are cited in the app; anything else is marked as our own default. Different product? Enter your label's numbers. Your product's label always wins.

FROST AND FREEZE HEADS-UPS
"Drip the faucets tonight. 17° by 5 AM." A reminder the evening before a freeze or frost, free. Plus adds heads-ups for freeze, frost, wind and red flag watches and advisories, and a nudge when a good window opens.

8 WIDGETS AND A RAIN-SAFE TIMER
Conditions, hourly, 10-day, next rain, sun and moon, radar, one verdict, or a board of three. Your first widget is free, whichever you pick. Rain-safe timer (Plus): just finished staining? Watch the countdown in your notifications.

NO ADS. EVER.
Free: the full forecast, radar, severe weather warnings (US), freeze reminders, a morning verdict, verdicts you can share as an image, 2 activities, 1 place, 1 widget. Location is used only when you tap "Use my location"; we never track your location in the background.
Plus: all 47 activities, every widget, the rain-safe timer, next-hour rain, lightning, a two-hour radar loop, heads-ups, a morning verdict for your top three activities and 10 places. Yearly with a free trial, monthly, or one-time lifetime. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app.

THE FINE PRINT
Verdicts are guidance, not guarantees, and your product's label always wins. For boating, drones and flights, also follow official marine and aviation forecasts and local rules. Fairsky is not a substitute for official warnings: follow the National Weather Service, Environment and Climate Change Canada, your national weather service and local officials, and keep emergency alerts on.
