Comments on Family Bee (free trial) for Android

★★★★★ Motorola Xoom folder dows not display I loaded this on the Motorola Xoom tablet. When connected to my PC via the USB cable, the folder for FamilyBee is not visible on the device, (visible via Astro) unable to drag and drop my gedcom into the app. Also, the font is very small. I wish there was a way to utilize the extra space on the tablet with larger text. I was able to use the upload program on the beekeeper website and email the file which easily imported. I am using RootsMagic as my family tree program and the data appears to be in order.

★★★★★ Amazing app for studying heritage Amazing, use it

★★★★★ Excellent I no longer need to print all my tree info out and carry it around. I have access to all my family tree including notes and sources downloaded from Family Historian to a gedcom file. Have been wanting this for years.

★★★★★ I've been using it for years. I agree, it's a little difficult to lid a GEDCOM file, but once that's done, using it is a breeze, and I find it invaluable. It would be lovely to have a tree view, or a way to see any events that took place on a given day, but those would be my only requests.

★★☆☆☆ Would Not Load Gedcom Files... I already had 2 Gedcom family files (from My Heritage software) on my Samsung S4 but it came up with error and would not load either of them. I uninstalled the app and downloaded FamilyGTG and hey presto, both Gedcom files openned perfectly. Sorry guys but I am not trying to send my Gedcom files to you to be reformatted or whatever as they are confidential and I have not got the time. Family GTG is fine for me.

★★☆☆☆ Nothing works. Would love to have a family tree app that would work with gedcom files. Android needs to get up to speed.

★★☆☆☆ It wont open its a black screen..glad I didn't pay for it!!

★★☆☆☆ Doesn't work Tried to make it work on toshiba at100...forget it.Some step by step instructions would help. Why is it every software developer thinks I am as smart as them

★★☆☆☆ Won't open my GEDCOM no matter how I create it or transfer it, and FC several times, sorry guys, life's too short, Droid X
