FamSinyal: Family Locator

Wondering where your child is—and when the map location was actually captured?

FamSinyal is a family locator designed for parents and paired child devices. It shows the latest location reported by the child’s phone, along with the capture time and approximate accuracy. An older point is not presented as if it were new, so you can see what the device most recently reported before deciding what to do next.

SEE THE LATEST REPORTED LOCATION

Open the family map to see the latest reported child location. Check the time attached to that report and the approximate accuracy shown by the app. Review up to 30 days of child location history when you need context; older child location records are deleted automatically.

FamSinyal reports only the latest information the paired device was able to provide. The capture time and approximate accuracy help you judge that information.

SOS AND SAFETY CHECKS

A child can send an SOS with one tap. The parent receives a notification and the location reported with that SOS, helping the family respond without searching through menus. For an everyday check-in, the parent can send “Are you safe?” and the child can answer with one tap on their own device.

An SOS inside FamSinyal alerts the family; it does not contact police, fire, ambulance, or another emergency responder.

UNDERSTAND THE DEVICE STATUS

See the paired child device’s battery level, connection status, and location-permission status. If the device has not connected for an extended period, FamSinyal can send an offline warning. Together, these indicators can explain why a location report has not changed.

HOW PAIRING WORKS

1. Install FamSinyal on the parent and child devices.
2. Use physical access to the child device and enter a one-time pairing code.
3. Complete the required device permissions and confirm the connection.

A persistent notice remains visible on the child device while location reporting is active. FamSinyal has no hidden mode. Pairing cannot be completed from a phone number, and the service is not intended for monitoring partners, employees, or other adults without their knowledge.

BUILT FOR PARENTS TO USE TOGETHER

Invite a second parent to the same family so both can use the child-safety tools. One subscription covers the family, keeping access and billing simple. Each paired child device remains visible in the family view with its latest report and device status.

WHAT FAMSINYAL DOES NOT ACCESS

FamSinyal does not read messages, call logs, or contacts. It does not access the microphone or camera. It cannot locate a device from its phone number. The app does not include a hidden mode, family chat, crash detection, driving scores, driving analysis, or a permanent location archive.

LOCATION FRESHNESS AND ACCURACY

Location reports depend on device permissions, operating-system behavior, battery level, GPS signal, nearby buildings or indoor conditions, and internet connectivity. A report can be delayed or less precise than expected. Check the capture time and approximate accuracy before relying on the map, and contact your child directly when confirmation is important.

SUBSCRIPTION

If you choose a subscription, its price and billing period are shown in Google Play before purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled. You can manage or cancel it in your Google Play subscription settings. The terms displayed at purchase apply.
