FarmSeconds

FarmSeconds is the neighborhood harvest table — a warm, local place to share surplus from backyard gardens and real farms.

Got extra tomatoes, eggs, apples, or a crate of farm seconds that won’t make the CSA box? Post it in under a minute. Neighbors nearby claim it as a gift, open a trade, or send a small fee over Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or Zelle. No in-app checkout, no marketplace fees — just people sharing what grew.

Your exact address stays private. Locations are privacy-fuzzed on the map; pickup details stay in chat between you and the person who claimed it.

Farms and growers get tools built for them: a Farm account with farm name, optional pickup window, verified checkmark, Farm Surplus badge, and who can claim — anyone, individuals only, or orgs & food banks. Farm seconds finally have a home that isn’t a noisy free-stuff feed.

Prefer a smaller circle? Pods let you share with one street, one garden club, or an invite-only group — so the feed stays useful instead of empty and citywide.

We’re local-first, starting in Hendersonville, NC and nearby towns. An empty national map helps nobody. Come post one harvest, or claim someone else’s. That’s the whole thing.

Not Craigslist for food. Not a restaurant surprise-bag app. Not a declutter freebie board. Just surplus from gardens and farms, shared with people nearby — gift, trade, or a small fee.
