This Mastic fasting regime works for me. I feel better, sleep better, can think sharper, have less of an urge for comfort food, and I am losing weight. Since I do my fasting from 7 in the evening, most of the fasting time is while I am asleep. So it requires not too much of an effort. The Mastic app helps keeping track of the eating and fasting hours. Very convenient.

As a previous customer of the free version and knowing it works I went all in and subscribed, the app is great as giving reminders and encouragement. It cares about how you feel and is there if you need advice. Lots of meal ideas, hints and tips. I don't feel like I'm on a diet because I'm not, I'm just healthy eating and fasting, bonus is in dropping weight and feeling great. Highly recommended!

Edit: reduced to 2 stars. Original review: I like the app. My only problem so far is I am not able to add the app that tracks my steps. When you click on steps, it takes you to steps but nothing else. It is very frustrating as I walk about 5 km per day. I paid $99 for my subscription, but the thing I want most does not work. Fix it, or I will cancel. The walking tracker app I use is "Jaywalk." It's a part of the Armour family of apps. I am very disappointed I am unable to link anything at all.

Confusing and inflexible, but at least no nerving external ads. I don't understand why it's not possible to configure hours of eating and fasting. The app is either in eating or fasting mode according to the schedule chosen. Update: I wanted to retry the app, but it shows only empty screens, and it can't be used at all now.

A bug in the calendar integration has caused some annoying inconvenience. This app created 112 recurring events in my calendar. I'm halfway through manually deleting them one by one. An unpleasant experience. EDIT: I already disconnected the calendar. It did not delete the entries. I am being serious when I say 112 calendar entries: 7 days * 2 time slots * 8 duplicate entries = 112. Bonkers!
