Full-featured, but uncluttered. Handles multiple accounts, drafts, lists, scheduling, all the usual features you'd expect. Good support for non-Mastodon extensions like Akkoma-compatible quote boosts & emoji reactions, Hometown/GoToSocial-compatible local posts, large images on Pixel fed, etc. Not quite as smooth or polished as Tusky, but I like the way it shows long threads, and the expanded feature support makes it a close decision.

I love the ability to go between Mastodon, Peer Tube, and Pixel fed. More intuitive and stable than the other Fediverse apps I have used.

Pedicab is the best Mastodon app for Android. Extremely customizable, and has tonnes of features. I highly recommend it!

I've been trying this app for a week or two with 3 different Fedi accounts (2 Masto,1 Pixel fed). Basically it's fantastic. It's a beautiful customizable interface, multi acct interoperable and also offers translation inline. The settings can be a bit overwhelming at first but once you get familiar it's very good. I haven't quite got notifications to work yet, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. Now please add Lemmy.world, then I'll be super happy!

Unfortunately, after the login screen, pressing authorize does nothing. I switched my default browser, and then while trying to log in, it said something like a token couldn't be authorized. I'm able to log in fine on Tusky and web. I was looking forward to trying this app. Uninstalled as no point to an app you can't log in to.

I would love to give these 5 stars, but the actual experience of using Peer tube on here is just terrible. Can't even like or comment on things because, "The video can't be federated!" The screen always goes to vertical mode regardless of my screen's lock settings where it will always turn even if I'm keeping my phone perfectly still, so I can't even lie down to watch videos. Searching for Peer tube instances is also really unintuitive, and I can't even follow accounts through Pedicab. Not great.

2025 bad clients for mastodon, posts count IS shown BUT followed hashtags posts count not shown, verdict uninstall for good

No longer seems to work on Android 6. Claims "The instance domain does not seem to be valid!" even with the default mastodon. Social instance.

Great new update guys. Not sure when that happened. I've been having an issue with sending reactions through on pedicab. If I press "😆" and there's already 1+ "😆," for example, then it simply highlights the bubble. If I use the drop-down menu to select it, it will remove the bubble that shows (😆 1) leaving nothing there. EDIT: 11/03/24 Still a problem. Thanks for nothing. Going back to Husky.
