🍺 FENSTER – The Card Drinking Game


🎯 Objective of the Game

Players work together to correctly reveal all the cards in the "Window."
They must guess whether face-down cards are higher, lower, equal to, between, or outside the range of the cards already revealed.
Mistakes are penalized, while correct guesses provide safety or the option to pass the turn. 🃏 Game Setup

Played with cards ranging from 7 to Ace
Each card appears exactly 4 times in the deck
Cards are arranged in a 5×5 square
Only the perimeter is filled with cards; the center is empty
Initially, two diagonally opposite corner cards are face-up
All other cards are face-down


▶ Gameplay

1️⃣ Choose a card
A player clicks a face-down card that is directly adjacent to one or two face-up cards
The adjacent face-up cards determine the available choices

2️⃣ Possible choices
🔹 One adjacent face-up card
The player may choose:
Higher
Lower
Equal
🔹 Two adjacent face-up cards
The player may choose:
Between (value lies between the two cards)
Outside (lower than both or higher than both)
Equal (matches one of the two cards)

3️⃣ Reveal card
The chosen card is revealed
The game automatically checks if the choice was correct or incorrect


✅ Correct choice

The card remains face-up
The player may continue playing
🔁 After two consecutive correct guesses, the player may voluntarily pass the turn to the next player
👉 This is optional—the player can also choose to keep playing


❌ Incorrect choice

All connected face-up cards belonging to this turn are removed
These cards are replaced with new face-down cards
The other corner of the board remains untouched


🍻 Drinking rule

👉 The player must take as many sips as there were cards removed
Example:
3 connected cards are replaced → 3 sips


🔁 Cards & Probability

Removed cards are returned to the deck
The deck is reshuffled
This ensures:
No card appears more often than allowed
Probabilities remain fair


🏁 End of Round

Once all cards in the window have been revealed:
The round ends (window closes)
The playing field is reshuffled
A notification appears: "Next mistake, Chug!"
This means that upon the very next error—regardless of which player commits it—that player must CHUG their glass.


🧠 Important Notes

A player can play at different corners simultaneously.
Mistakes only apply to the connected cards in that specific area.
No one has to drink if the guess is correct (unfortunately 😏).
