Description
Convert audio and video directly on the device using FFmpeg http://ffmpeg.org/
FFmpeg is a set of open source libraries that allow you to record, convert digital audio and video recordings in various formats. It includes libavcodec, a library for encoding and decoding audio and video, and libavformat, a library for multiplexing and demultiplexing into a media container. The name comes from the name of the MPEG and FF expert group, meaning fast forward. FFmpeg is already built into the program and does not require downloading additional codecs. The conversion takes place directly on the device (the Internet is not required), and the conversion speed depends on the processor speed of the device.
Supports: MPEG4, h265, h264, mp3, 3gp, aac, ogg (vorbis and theora), opus, vp8, vp9 and many other formats (you will find the list in the app).
Requirements: Android 4.4 and the availability of the processor ARMv7, ARMv8, x86, x86_64.
More options can be found in the help pages for FFmpeg.
For Android 11 users: New rules require the application to use more confidential methods of working with files on your device. You will have to copy/move the input files to a shared folder, such as DCIM, Movie, Music, Download. Sorry for the inconvenience

Nice, but a little nerdy: Does every video format encoding, But I needed to tell AI what I needed and what platform I wanted to put it on to produce the complicated FFmpeg coded templates for this.

Works excellent if you use older version. Don't go past version 6.0 or program spazzes out trying to convert same video 4x at once as it hits 40 percent. Don't let Google Play update it!

I'm learning huge things with this tool, I'm simply becoming a professional doing lossless content, I hope I can give some money as a gift of gratitude in the future. Thanks a lot

It is functional and works very well... it isn't so intuitive, but once you get used to it, it's easy to convert what you need, both audio and video files into lots of formats. Thanks by Lino

It doesn't create files. Goes through the whole conversion, no file created, even when storage permission is added.

Image conversion works fine, but I'm running into a problem with video conversions; especially longer videos over four minutes. After FFmpeg finishes converting, the same video gets automatically reconverted again after about three minutes of output. This bug has been happening since the update to FFmpeg 6.0.0. I really hope this can be fixed, so videos don't restart conversion after 4–5 minutes. It's also not just happening on my device; it affects newer phones as well as older ones.

More hassle than convenience! Allow me to elaborate: 1. Can't seem to convert files that are on the SD card 2. No clear instructions for the GUI itself, just for FFmpeg which none asked for 3. Unnecessary "template" feature that interferes with the output format and inadvertently creates files in an unintentional format 4. If I delete an output file I don't like, it still detects it, gives error and says, "file exists" 5. Two stars for the ad free experience

Very buggy experience for a minimal and clunky UI. App can't deal with running in the background. Screen locked after a while and when I unlocked it to check the status, the app started to re-encode the same file a 2nd time...while the 1st process was still running, overwriting a file that was 95% finished. I then set the phone aside to let the 2nd run finish and when I logged back in, it immediately started a 3rd run, overwriting the file again. Utter garbage. Way too much data collection as well
