A necessary tool for the security conscious . . . A necessary tool for the security conscious Smart Phone user. Simple interface allowing shredding of files. Once a file is selected for shredding the only way it can be unselected is searching back through the directory tree to find the file, then unselecting it for shredding. It would be better to be able to unselect the file directly on the shredding queue list.

Not useable as it currently is. I am using Android 4 on a GS3. This application may work ok for small files of a few bytes, but even though it claims to do things in the background it doesnt adding a movie or audio track will make your phone seem like its crashed - it hasn't but it can take many minutes before your phone will respond again. Screens like File Shredder is not responding do you want to wait. You say yes, and then it says Unfortunately, File Shredder has stopped [Report] [Ok] It does not remove the file from histories or playlists in common movie players, I would have expected that. Its not just the contents of files I want deleted, but all record of file names involved too!! Very disappointed, I mean this is simple functionality, how hard can it be?

Nope I've been having problems deleting videos from my sd card on my phone. I go into gallery delete the file/delete the folder few minutes later theres the folder again with everything in it. And if I go into the files on my phone to try and delete them it will will just say failed to delete. So I thought I'd try this app, I use the app and it still tells me failed to delete. Did nothing.
