“Scan lost photos, videos, audio and files, then recover them.”
Description by QFD CONSULTANTNS ( PRIVATE ) LIMITED Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
FileRepair follows a user-controlled recovery process. You start the scan, choose the type of content you want to look for, review the detected results, and decide which files should be saved back to your device. The app does not automatically restore every item and does not promise that every deleted file can be recovered.
You can use FileRepair to look for common file types, including photos, videos, music, voice files, documents, archives, and other storage items. Supported formats may include JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC, PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, TXT, ZIP, and RAR.
The recovery flow is simple:
1. Select a file category
2. Start a storage scan
3. Review recoverable results
4. Choose the files you need
5. Save selected files locally
FileRepair is useful for accidental deletion, missing media, lost documents, cleanup mistakes, or checking whether recoverable files remain on the device. Scan results may be organized to make review easier, so you can focus on the files that matter.
Storage access is used only for user-started scanning and recovery. Recovery operations run on the device, and files are not uploaded for recovery. Notifications may be used to show scan progress, recovery status, or completion alerts when a task takes time.
Recovery success depends on device storage conditions, deletion timing, and whether deleted data has been overwritten. For better chances, start scanning soon after files are lost.
